day #32: busy, busy, busy!

this past saturday, i had a pretty jam packed schedule. had to wake up early to finish getting things ready for the open house that the home based business group here in el paso hosted. tom left in the am to go to the store with scott, cuz the guys were gonna bbq a brisket and watch football all afternoon.

so i had both boys, one of which had a fever, was screamin bloody murder, and wanted to be held constantly. ah, the unconditional love of a mother. luckily i was able to drop them off with their dad for the afternoon while i was at the open house.

the open house went really well, had lots of traffic. hopefully gained a few customers out of the deal. i'm really enjoyin doin the scentsy thing and even more excited now that i have some great teamates to work with!

the brisket was fabulous, we'll definitely be makin it again in the future. thanks mom for the recipe :-) we enjoyed saturday evening watchin college football (michigan is now 4-0), eatin, drinkin, and socializin. always a good time when we get together with our el paso friends!

the pic below is of zachary and zoey, scott's dog. zoey loves to cuddle up with zach when he falls asleep. she's done it multiple times before. i think its pretty darn cute!
